This Privacy Policy describes how Yoake: Focus & To-do ("we", "our", or "the app") handles your information when you use our Android application.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information collected automatically
- Anonymous Firebase Authentication ID: When you open the app, Firebase Authentication may create an anonymous technical user ID (UID) used to link backend data to your app installation. This is not an account registration and is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, or login credentials.
- Local task and focus data: Tasks, focus sessions, progress, room state, coins, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Isar database). This data does not leave your device except where backend sync or reward verification is used.
- Ad-related data (Google AdMob): When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google Mobile Ads SDK may process data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID), app interactions, ad views, diagnostics, and fraud prevention data. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
b) Information you provide
- We do not require account registration, email login, Google Sign-In, phone login, or username/password login.
- We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
2. Firebase Services and Backend Data
The app uses the following Firebase services provided by Google LLC:
- Firebase Authentication (anonymous): Used to create a temporary anonymous technical session. No name, email address, phone number, or login credentials are collected during this process. This generates an anonymous UID used to link your backend data.
- Cloud Firestore: Used to store backend data linked to your anonymous Firebase UID, including: premium gem balance, rewarded ad reward records, reward verification records, and cosmetic ownership records.
- Cloud Functions: Used to run server-side reward verification logic (for example, verifying rewarded ad completions and granting gems). These functions operate on anonymized data associated with your anonymous UID.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to show optional rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are entirely optional. You may choose to watch a rewarded ad to receive in-app gems/crystals.
- Rewards are granted only after an ad is fully watched and backend verification confirms the completion.
- Watching part of an ad or closing an ad early does not grant rewards.
- Google Mobile Ads SDK may process ad-related data, including IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID), app interactions, ad views, diagnostics, and fraud prevention data.
- Google's use of ad data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google AdMob policies.
The app does not give coins, gems, items, or rewards for Google Play reviews or ratings.
4. In-App Purchases
The current version of the app does not offer real-money in-app purchases or paid content. Any future paid features will be disclosed and subject to updated privacy terms.
5. Data Retention and Local Data
- Local data (tasks, focus sessions, room state, coins, settings, and preferences) is retained on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its app data from Android settings.
- Backend data (premium gem balance, rewarded ad reward records, reward verification records, cosmetic ownership) is associated with your anonymous Firebase UID and retained in Cloud Firestore according to Google's data retention policies.
- Anonymous Firebase Authentication sessions may be retained by Firebase according to Google's data retention policies.
- You can request deletion of backend data by contacting us (see Section 8) or visiting our Data Deletion Request page.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- With Google (Firebase, AdMob) as necessary to operate the app's backend and optional advertising features.
- As required by applicable law or legal process.
7. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of backend data associated with your app installation. Visit our dedicated page for instructions:
